People who are in the real estate business can enhance their marketing performance through postcard advertising. Marketing with postcards is effective because you can track your results more easily. Furthermore, using postcards require only a small budget. Below are some tips on how you can be more successful in selling real estate using postcards:

Know your target audience.

Identify your target market. Knowing your target market is vital in composing a strong message. Sending postcards to the wrong people is a waste of your marketing budget and time. Use these questions to get to know your market better:

* Who are you sending out your postcards to?
* Are they new prospects or former clients?
* What is their lifestyle?
* What do they want from a home property?
What price range can they afford?

Create an Audience Statement.

After identifying your market and gathering important details about them, put together your audience statement and use this as the main theme of your marketing campaign. Writing an audience statement helps you focus on your goal. Here is an example of a real estate marketer’s audience statement:

“My target audience is composed of families who used to rent apartments and have plans of buying a home of their own. They are not very familiar with all the processes involved in buying a house and are in need of assistance. They want to find a home that will suit their budget.”

Set your goal.

Again, you must focus on one specific goal. Each of your postcards must have one specific message. Your postcards must tell your recipients exactly what to. For instance, is it an invitation to an open house? Are you holding a seminar about how to purchase a home? Don’t sell your products using your postcards. Instead, use them as tools to introduce your services.

Create a strong message.

An effective marketing message must start with a strong headline. The headline often determines whether or not your audience would pay attention. Take time in creating strong headline.

Track your audience response.

One way to track your audience response is to ask them to bring along the postcard with them to your open house or seminar. Offer discounts or freebies to encourage your recipients to check you out.

  1. Postcard marketing is really effective for some businesses. Like real estate. While some letters are ignored by customers, I think sending postcards are better. and cheaper,as the article stated. I have been trying it for months and it served its purpose..
